Pulsar Audio has unveiled its latest audio plugin, an accurate emulation of the Neumann w495 3-band equalizer.
The Pulsar w495 is a user-friendly mastering equalizer that offers an on-screen curve editor and spectrum analyzer, per-band Mid/Side routing options, oversampling, auto-gain, and more.
Neumann w495 EQ’s were utilized for mastering 90% of vinyl records produced from the 1970s to the 1990s. Even in the post-golden era, many mastering engineers still highly regard this EQ. Why? Because the w495 allows for extensive equalization curves that can be pushed to extreme levels while maintaining musicality. The w495 acts as a straightforward tone shaper for individual tracks and can enhance the presence and depth of an entire mix.
But we’ve gone even further with Pulsar W495, incorporating all the key features you would expect from a modern EQ plugin, including visual curve editing for a speedy workflow. From channel EQ applications to mastering EQ, Pulsar w495 is a powerful and easy-to-use tone shaper, faithfully emulating an iconic 3-band EQ.
With a regular price of $49 USD/EUR, the Pulsar w495 (available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats) is now free until October 31st, 2023. You can access this offer through Pulsar Audio or via the distributor Plugin Boutique.
