McDSP has introduced a time-limited offer on its Analog Channel, an effect plugin that replicates the sounds of high-end analog tape machines, tape, and channel amplifiers.
The AC101 configuration functions as a digital pre-amp, enabling excessive amounts of gain without digital distortion. A drive control determines the audio’s position in the saturation/compression region, with adjustable attack and release times for the distortion character.
The AC202 configuration simulates analog tape machines, offering controls beyond standard tape machine parameters, including adjustable low frequency roll off, head bump, playback head types, tape formulations, and tape saturation recovery time – independent of playback speed.
Plugin Boutique is offering the Analog Channel for $49 USD, reduced from $129 USD for the native version (VST3, AU and AAX), or $69 USD, down from $149 USD for the HD version (AAX DSP) until December 26th, 2023.
