Plugin Boutique is running a sale on Wavesfactory’s Spectre, a sound-shaping tool that combines an enhancer with a graphical parametric equalizer. Normally priced at $99 USD, it’s available for $69 USD until March 31st, 2026. This represents a 30% discount.
Spectre processes the difference between the input signal and the EQ signal. It introduces harmonic content to specific parts of the spectrum using saturation algorithms modeled after analog hardware. This adds color and life to audio.
The plugin features five parallel boost-only parametric bands: Low Shelf, three Peak, and High Shelf. Each band offers frequency, Q, and gain controls in a graphical EQ workflow. It also includes an additional “clean” channel for parallel boosting EQ functionality.
Spectre provides 10 saturation algorithms: Tube, warm tube, solid, tape, diode, class B, bit, digital, rectify, and half rectify. Optional 4x and 16x oversampling modes ensure high quality without aliasing, even with aggressive settings. Users can process mono/stereo signals, left or right, mid, or side channels.
Music producers and audio engineers use Spectre during mixing and mastering to brighten dull recordings, adapt bass for small speakers, or widen stereo imaging via its mid/side matrix. This deal allows access to these capabilities at a reduced cost.
Spectre works on Windows and Mac in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats. More details on Wavesfactory plugins are available here.
